VIP  Dog Boarding

Think of this as a vacation in the country for your dog(s)

Or a stay at a Bed and Breakfast.

VIP= Very Important Pet! We know your dog is a VIP to you.  And at HousePETality, we carry on in the same vein.  We accept a maximum of two guest dogs at a time– and usually only one.  So there’s lots of personalized attention and companionship– both human and canine.

Your dog(s) will be treated as a member(s) of our family/pack and will enjoy 2 long walks a day and lots of personalized attention from me and canine companionship from Roxie. Your dog will have the run of the house and all the creature comforts needed to be happy (many guest dogs even sleep in bed with us!). Preliminary get-acquainted meeting is required.

$50.00 per 24-hour day. $20.00 for each additional dog. Discounts available for longer stays.
Extra charges may apply for Special Needs dogs (e.g. seniors, puppies, dogs with medical conditions, etc.)

Doggie Day Care

If you have to be away for most of the day– either at work or on a day trip,  Doggie Day Care is a great option for your dog.  Just drop your dog off in the morning– or whenever you need to– and he or she will spend the day in good company, with me and my dog, Roxie.  We’ll go for long walks, and will hang out together until you are ready to pick your dog up.  A full day of dog care includes all feeding and 2 walks, unlimited outings in the yard and trips in the car to fun places.

$40.00 per 8-hour day. $15.00 for each additional dog.
Extra charges may apply for Special Needs dogs (e.g. seniors, puppies, dogs with special needs).

Visits While You’re Away:

Perhaps you would like to leave your dog (or other pet) in the familiarity of your own home while you are away for a prolonged period. Although I do not do stay-overs (at your place), I am happy to make as many visits as your pet requires– for feeding, walks, play, bathroom breaks, sleep time, love, or whatever.

$20.00/visit: $25.00 for multiple pets
$25.00/$30.00 for visits after 9:00pm

Daily Walks / Visits :

So many people work outside the home these days. And dogs and other pets are left alone for many hours with no socialization or opportunities to relieve themselves.  Dogs, especially, are very social animals, and it’s hard on your pet to be left alone for long periods of time.

A walk or a visit offers your pet relief from boredom, some companionship, a change of scene and an opportunity for exercise. I come to your home–with or without Roxie (your call)– and take your dog for a walk in your neighborhood or let him/her out in your fenced yard for supervised play. Or I might feed your dog or cat, clean the cat’s litter box  or spend some quality play time with your pet indoors. What I do on my visit is based on your needs.

$20.00/ visit or walk (20-30 minutes). For each additional dog to be walked, please add $10.00. Discounts for frequent or regularly scheduled walks/visits.

Play Dates with Roxie:

If you have a fenced yard and a dog who likes canine AND human contact to break up the boredom of a day without you, consider a Play Date with Roxie. Roxie is a very good-natured 8 year-old mutt who is neither dominant nor submissive. She is a very gracious hostess and is a friend to all. Preliminary get-acquainted meeting is required.

$20.00 for a 20-30 minute Play Date. $10.00 for each additional 15- minute period.

When you’re off at work and you need someone to drive your pet to an appointment — veterinary or grooming — let HousePETality chauffeur your precious cargo to their destination.

Based on $35.00 per hour.
