I was thinking of some ways to use this blog (that’s short for web blog for all you dinosaurs out there).
Here are some of my ideas: I could tell you about nice, warm stories of my compatriots who have been rescued from awful fates (just as I was). Nothing like a story of a dog or (even) cat who was on the verge of extinction but who, at the last minute, finds its forever home. Brings tears to my eyes. I’ll also offer some ideas about how YOU can help.
I could also tell you stories of animal heros. You know the cat that dialed 911 and that sort of thing. That’s always good for a swelling of the heart. And will bring a sense of pride to my furred, feathered and scaled fellow travelers.
Since I’m an art lover (bet you didn’t know dogs loved art. Hah! Bet there’s a lot you don’t know about us!) I can share some beautiful and funny pictures of my fellow animals.
I might occasionally bring in Marcia, my person, as a guest blogger so she can tell you what she thinks about serious isues like how to feed a dog (properly), health issues that pets have to deal with and stuff about the human-animal relationship (she almost wrote a book once on people and their pets. Called it “Pure Love.”)
That’s all I can think about for now. Adios.

You must be quite a special dog, Roxie!
