Lucy and her wheels

Lucy is a black mutt rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico.  As a result of an accident, she is paralyzed and can’t walk without the help of some doggie wheels.  And she’s a trooper. A mountain climber and a true hero.

In August of 2010, Lucy and her human pack and canine buddy hiked 8 miles to the top of Mt. Washington, New Hampshire’s and the east coast’s highest peak.  I’m not sure I could have done it, but Lucy did.  Here is video proof.  Enjoy!
